Community Quilt Show
The Milwaukie Center Quilt Show is a Community Quilt Show. It is not affiliated with a guild, and anyone may enter quilts in the show.
All quilts, old and new, are welcome, appreciated, and *Not Judged*.
Share your quilts ... Enter your favorite quilt, the quilt your grandmother made, or the one you have that you wish you had made. You don't have to be a quilt maker -- being a quilt owner qualifies you to enter a quilt in this show.
Marjorie RhineFeatured Artist
The Featured Artist this year is Marjorie Rhine.
On Saturday, March 18, Marje will be telling us her process for "Taming Your Scraps".
Marje is an accomplished local quilt artist, pattern designer, author, teacher, and long-arm quilter. She is also the Pattern Editor of American Quilter's Society (AQS) Magazine.
Besides her own lines of patterns, she designs and makes some of the quilts you see in the magazines for fabric company advertisements.
Marje is the author of "Painless Paper Piecing" (out of print), as well as many articles in the AQS magazine.

Marsha McCloskey was intended to be our Featured Artist, and is listed in the Show Hop brochure as our guest, but she will be unable to be here.
Quilts of Valor
Quilts of Valor will have a presence at the show again this year. Besides the information booth nestled among the vendors on both Friday and Saturday, they will have their sew-in in the Oregon Grape Room on Friday. Come, watch, and learn about opportunities to volunteer for Quilts of Valor.
